Pete Clay is a
full-time real estate professional serving Georgia's
Lake Lanier and the surrounding Counties of Fulton
(north). Forsyth, Hall, Dawson, Gwinnett (north), White,
Barrow, Pickens, and Lumpkin. Pete has sold and closed
on properties in Alpharetta, Braselton, Buford, Cumming,
Dahlonega, Dawsonville, Flowery Branch, Gainesville,
Hoschton, Lula, Oakwood, Sugar Hill, Suwanee and Winder,
in Georgia, plus has had numerous out-of-state referral
sales.
Prior to
joining Solid Source Realty, Inc. as an Associate Broker
in 2008, Pete was affiliated with Coldwell Banker French
Properties, in Cumming, a locally owned franchise, and
well known for its expertise with Lake Lanier
properties. After the owner of French Properties retired
and closed the business, Pete moved to Coldwell Banker
Residential Brokerage, also in Cumming, as an Associate
Broker.
Going back
still further, Pete served as a senior
executive in New York City, before deciding to opt for
early retirement and the move to Georgia. His executive
responsibilities included vice president human
resources/operations/productivity, and, among many other
duties, had accountability for property development,
employee/executive relocation, all company expenses,
etc, all of which add to his capabilities as a
negotiator and area real estate expert.
Pete Clay grew
up in New Jersey and Maryland, and attended college in
the north and in the south. Personal investments in
recreational properties over the years, mostly lake and
skiing-oriented, have been an interesting and a
rewarding avocation. Today, in addition to local market
real estate Pete offers buyers his referral affiliations
with dozens of resort communities in Florida, North
Carolina, South Carolina, Hawaii, Costa Rica, Honduras
and Mexico.
Pete, and his
wife, a former banking executive, make
their primary residence in one of the delightful and
convenient communities near Lake Lanier. They also own
ski and lake properties in other states, and his wife, a
winter sports enthusiast, particularly enjoys their home
at a ski resort. They regularly boated on Lake Lanier
with their 31' Formula sport boat, as well as on Lake
Winnipesaukee, in New Hampshire. With the boat now sold,
they are concentrating on improving their golf games to
the point where they are no longer a threat to other
players on the course.
Pete is easy to
know, never applies sales pressure, and is available as
your listing agent to sell your property, or as your
buyer agent to represent your interests if buying. He
makes himself accessible seven days a week, so do not
hesitate to contact Pete anytime, day or night,
with real estate questions or specific property
inquiries. Pete Clay holds the prestigious GRI
designation (Graduate Realtor Institute), and is
certified as a National Association of Realtors Short
Sale and Forclosure Resource (SFR).
Pete's
interests outside of real estate include power boating,
history, Corvettes and true Classic-Era automobiles,
reading biographies, visiting Civil War and
Revolutionary War battlefields and other historic
places. Pete says, "Perhaps we have some interests in
common, and that would be great fun". |
