Georgia, the law requires that
you sign a Buyer Agency Agreement before you
can have a Buyer Agent represent you. If you
do not sign a Buyer Agency Agreement,
your
agent is required by law to represent
the interests of the seller, and not yours!
If you decide not to engage buyer agency,
you will not be represented by your agent to
look out for your best interests. However,
while representing the seller in the
transaction, your agent is allowed to handle
your ministerial needs, and, if a REALTOR®,
will still be
bound by the strict ethics standards of the
National Association of
REALTORS.

Agency Agreement will be thoroughly reviewed
